Keeping it alive after launch.

Upkeep from $49 a month. Optional, cancel any time, and the site stays live either way because you own it. This is what most people want and almost nobody explains.

A website is not furniture. It sits on the internet being probed by bots, its software goes out of date, its contact form quietly stops sending, and the thing you wanted changed in March is still not changed in September because getting a quote for twenty minutes of work is more hassle than living with it.

That is what upkeep is for. Not insurance against disaster. The ordinary business of keeping something working and letting you change it without a conversation about money every single time.

What it is not

What happens if you do not have one

Nothing dramatic, and that is rather the problem. The site keeps working until the day it does not. Software drifts out of date, a form breaks quietly, and the first you hear of it is a customer saying they tried to get hold of you last month. Our own free check exists partly because that is the most common thing we find on sites nobody is looking after.

Not sure whether yours needs looking after?

Run the free check on it. It grades your front page in about eight seconds and will tell you whether anything is actually wrong before you spend a penny.

Building something new? Upkeep comes as part of the handover on every website package, and you decide then whether to keep it.
